I have deliberately used large j-peg files on this web page and disguised them as small pictures.  This was done by FrontPage.  I should have used the "resample button" after I was finished shrinking these pictures on FrontPage.  You should never make your visitors wait needlessly while your pictures download.  With a 56K modem, this page will take 5 minutes to download (on a good day).  Just imagine if I placed 10 or 20 pictures on this page...that is exactly what some authors have unwittingly done.  This is a common mistake when attempting to make thumbnails.  By properly using thumbnails or optimized j-pegs this page could have loaded in 3 seconds!
