I was there in November 1984, u can add me to that roster (I was in the "Red Eye" missle platoon, AKA Stinger missile)

Stumbled across this site by accident today while sufing the net. Brings back memories just hearing Proud Americans. I even have a stein with the 1/32 crest sitting in my office.

At any rate, was stationed in Hanau in 1991 time frame as an artillery surveyor, career E4. Worked under a Sgt. Maybee in the SIC. Wound up in Fleigerhorst by accident. Was in C Battery, 3/12th FA (Lance) in A-berg until about six months after end of desert storm, then was sent to Hanau and spent most of my time there either in field, taking forced R/R trips to General Walker hotel or -- at the end -- burning maps. Left Germany to go to Fort Stewart.

I still miss it.
